You be already aware but the computer world is once again under threat from vulnerabilities that exist in our computers. The latest threats go by the catchy names ‘Meltdown’ and ‘Spectre’ and affect the actual physical chips that sit on our computing devices, rather than the software that is normally under attack.
As a supply teacher, it’s inevitable that you may feel a bit nervous when starting at a new school. But, with the right attitude and preparation, there’s no doubt that you’ll be able to make a great impression and feel much more relaxed.
Last week Step Teachers held their first Cover Supervisor Training. It was well attended by the group large enough to ensure there were enough chat and support with some excellent questions being asked. The session started with what it means to be a Cover Supervisor. Then it moved on to what’s expected of cover supervisors by schools and vice versa.
